Skagway June 2nd
White pass railroad tour. 22 miles up into mountains and into British Columbia. Original railway built during the gold rush. Has a Cantilever bridge 1st of its kind build. The man who oversaw the construction of this railway bragged that if he had enough men and enough dynamite he could build a road to Hell!

One of first engines used!

White Pass Bridge (1st of its kind)

British Columbia above White Pass

This is the front of our train heading back down the mountain. We had a large rock fall onto the tracks (they couldn't get it moved) so we had to back down the mountain a little way so our engine could turn around and pull us back down. It was and adventure!

We stopped here and picked up "hitchhikers" on the way down. Really.

OK I got a little bored!

Ketchikan Rain forest Canopy Zip line Adventure-(The things we do for our children)! This was our guide/instructor named Hurricane (He grew up in Baker Oregon). He is making sure I won't fall to my death.

Kelly and Logan all geared up.

Kelly on the Practice course.

Crossing the swinging rope bridge. I didn't look down once on the whole course, because I knew that would be the end!!!! I just looked strait ahead. It worked.
I survived the seven zip line crossings. That is relief on my face. No I don't need to try it again EVER!

With Hurricane and Cory (our fearless leaders), and our Medals of Honor at the end of the course.

This man and his wife were on the zip line course and cruise with us.
As we became acquainted we found out they were from Utah, and he filled a mission same time, same place as Kelly many many years ago. Small world!

Street in Ketchikan, The green house was called the Dolly House after a women named Dolly who ran a "business" there. She reportedly worked well into her 60's!
