Knibee Ranch San Antonio

Skeet shooting. We were all pretty lousy! But it was fun.

Trail ride at the Knibee Ranch. It had been a long time since I had ridden, and I got a little saddle sore! My horse's name was Rodney. Kelly's horse was Tequila!

The ranch breeds a special kind of cattle called Tiger stripe. They were really striped, They also had the long horned brama bulls.

Kelly talking with a professional roping, gun twirling, sweet talking Texas Cowboy. He put on a great show for us while we ate a fantastic barbecue lunch.

What a joke! I was awful, But I kept trying till I shot one of those orange frizbee things. (Yes I know they aren't frizbees but they sort of look like them)!

San Antonio Trip

San Antonio has 5 old Catholic missions

within its city limits. We were able to tour

3 of them, It was fascinating. I learned a lot!

River walk Dinner cruise: We had a guided tour along the river walk as we ate a delicious 4 course meal, The city at night has a whole different feel. The lights were awesome.

I loved this cactus!

Kelly at the Alamo. We enjoyed a self guided tour and learning more about the history of this place. It didn't all happen like it did in the "movies"!

Lots of River walk pictures, what a fun place. Many fun shops and restaurants. Lots of photo opportunities!!!

Cherry Frozen Yogurt!

Kelly with Saint San Antonio, Our tour guide told us that Saint San Antonio was the Saint of "everything lost" so if you lose your car keys or your wallet he is suppose to help you find it!

Bridge over the River. This was once a old neglected area that had serious flooding issues, The city was planning to "fill" in the river to try to solve the problem . There was a small group of people who proposed the plan to improve the area and the river. That plan has been a real triumph for the City of San Antonio. The river walk area is extremely popular with the tourism industry.

A cold morning walk along the river.

This cute guy followed me all over town. He had the most awesome blue eyes. I decided to bring him home with me!

Standing in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. We ate next door at a great Italian place. I had cheese rotinii with pesto and pine nuts. Yum !!!

We thought of Marshall when we passed this little pub on the River walk, It was about a block from the Alamo.
