"It was great"
Cruising..... Cabo San Lucas, sea kayaking, snorkeling, "shark bait" (private joke), Lands End, sea lions, dolphins, pelicans (Mexican turkeys as the natives called them), sunburn, my favorite port!
Cruising.....Mazatlan, Pirate ship, city tour with fun taxi guy we found along the way!
Cruising to Puerto Vallarta, shopping, horchatta guy, awesome beach, tired feet, Wal-Mart, flee market.
Ship time: Circus on ice and ice skating (go Kelly), belly flop and men's sexy leg contest (not my idea of fun in the sun), Many great shows, Piano lounge with "Angelo" (we met him the 1'st day, at our muster station), Lots of great food, Formal night and dinning with the Captain (how did we ever get chosen for that? -out of 4700 people on board? Very elegant and formal!
We survived the Chili earthquake /tsunami (floated right over that wave). The last night on board was a big storm and very rough. I felt yucky but didn't get sick.
Our flight home was interesting, In LAX going thru security check point after about 2 hr wait in line, the guy between Kelly and I had a "meltdown" ended up throwing a bottle of liquor that was not allowed in his carry on bag. It shattered all over. Security/police swarmed us. I was trying to find somewhere to put my shoes back on and I looked at one of the security guards and said "can I go over there, I don't want to be by that guy" He looked at me and said "Neither do I". Needless to say Kelly and I got out of there as soon as possible. I was afraid they would shut down the airport. Crazy British dude!!!!
We were very glad to get home. Nice break from reality, but I think we are done cruising for awhile!
